FLOOR REMOVAL, GRINDING CONCRETE. WHAT TO EXPECT.

Grinding Concrete is dusty business every time it is done. We use vacuum equipment when possible and cover doors openings and furniture, however you can expect the home to have some dust on all surfaces when completed. It is best to plan on a house cleaning after work is completed as part of the cost of the project. You can let them air dry (best) or put in the drier at low heat. Again not to damage the materials. The heat can deactivate or melt the fine fibers. Hardwood flooring should be held to after all other trades finish there work. Any work that might need ladders like installing light fixtures and crown molding should be completed. We want to protect hardwood and install it at … Continue reading Which flooring should be installed first, or does it matter?
