When installing waterproof flooring, laminate, or other floating floors the old flooring must be removed if it is a floating installation. Floating floors expand and contract and can buckle, lift, shift or move much more than a fully adhered flooring installation. Carpet is a great choice for a bedroom flooring for many reasons. Carpet is a textile so it adds warmth and comfort to a room.
